three-phase wiring rental | events paris

A caterer with its ovens, a band with its sound system, a lighting rig for a product launch: these installations quickly exceed what a domestic socket can deliver. Three-phase 32A cabling rental carries substantial power from the venue's switchboard, a distribution box or a generator to the points of consumption, safely and over distances that can reach several tens of metres.

Four lengths to cover every configuration

The range consists of extension cables fitted with P17 32A three-phase plugs and sockets, the standard for event installations. The P17 32A three-phase extension - 2m serves as a link cord between a cabinet and a neighbouring box, or to line up two control-desk elements neatly. The P17 32A three-phase extension - 5m, from €4 excl. VAT, covers the distance between a wall-mounted switchboard and a room's technical station. The P17 32A three-phase extension - 10m and the P17 32A three-phase extension - 20m (from €9.50 excl. VAT) reach a stage, a catering kitchen or a marquee from a distant source. The extensions can be chained to achieve the exact length required, and their lockable connectors withstand foot traffic and damp.

When to switch to three-phase

Three-phase 32A becomes necessary as soon as one station concentrates a high power demand. A catering area with ovens, hobs and cold cabinets is the textbook example at a wedding or a gala. A concert stage or a dance party powers its sound system and lighting from a box connected in 32A three-phase, which avoids overloading the venue's 16A lines. Outdoors, a generator generally provides a P17 32A output: the extension then links the generator to the box, positioned out of sight and away from the noise. For downstream redistribution, our Cabinets and boxes convert this supply into sockets your suppliers can actually use.

How the rental works

The laying and connection of three-phase lines are handled by our technicians on delivery, in coordination with the site electrician or the venue manager; the equipment is collected and checked at dismantling, with no cleaning charge. Our Drive (pick-up) service at our warehouse remains available for technical suppliers familiar with this type of equipment. The prices shown apply for a 1 to 3-day rental period, then fall thanks to the decreasing rate for longer periods on multi-day trade shows and festivals. Tell us the power to be supplied, the type of socket available on site and the distances to be covered: we will quickly send you a quote with the recommended number and length of extensions.

This sub-category complements our Cabling and electrical distribution family. For greater requirements, see our Three-phase 63A cabling; for sites without a power supply, our generators; for final distribution, our Single-phase 16A cabling.

How much power can a 32A three-phase line carry?

Around 22 kW at nominal load, enough to power a complete catering kitchen or a medium-sized sound and lighting desk. Do check, however, that the source (switchboard or generator) actually delivers this power.

My venue only has standard sockets, can I use this cabling?

No: P17 32A three-phase extensions require a three-phase socket of the same format upstream. If your venue does not have one, the solution is a generator or having the site electrician install a dedicated feed.

How do I distribute power to my suppliers?

The extension feeds a distribution box or cabinet that redistributes the power through 16A or 32A single-phase sockets. Tell us how many suppliers you have and their requirements, and we will size the complete chain.
