Raised Technical Floor Rental for Stands

Have you ever noticed that no cable trails across a well-designed stand? The secret lies beneath your feet. Technical flooring rental makes it possible to create, in a few hours, a perfectly flat, raised, load-bearing surface into which power supplies, IT networks and ducting disappear. Trade show stand, presentation podium, pop-up store, brand corner or conference stage: technical flooring is the invisible base that makes everything else possible.

A modular aluminium system

Our floors rest on an aluminium structure fitted with adjustable feet, which makes it possible to compensate for the irregularities of a hall floor or outdoor paving and achieve a perfect level. The modules assemble without heavy tooling and combine to cover surfaces from a few square metres to several hundred. The load capacity reaches 750 kg/m²: it is therefore entirely possible to display a vehicle, an industrial machine or a massive counter in complete safety. Available heights range from a simple cable-routing floor to a presentation podium, with steps, access ramps and non-slip step nosings. Reusable from one event to the next, the system fits the spirit of the ISO 20121 standard.

Which finish for which event?

Bare technical flooring is never seen: it receives a covering that sets the tone. At a trade show, an event carpet in the brand's colours, laid edge to edge, unifies the stand and absorbs the sound of footsteps. For a product launch or a gala evening, a parquet floor brings warmth and prestige, while synthetic grass turns a podium into an urban garden. On a car stand, a platform raised by 10 to 20 cm brings the vehicle to eye level and marks the entrance to the space. For an outdoor VIP area, combine the flooring with perimeter decking that protects guests from damp.

Installation by our technicians

Technical flooring is delivered and assembled by our teams, who take the level, lay the structure, run your cables and close the modules before rolling out the covering. At the end of the event, dismantling and return to the warehouse are handled, and cleaning of the elements is included in the service. For a small podium or a riser of a few square metres, collection via the Drive (pick-up) service at our warehouse remains possible. Prices correspond to a 1 to 3-day rental period, with a decreasing rate for longer trade shows; send us your stand plan and your electrical requirements to receive a quote quickly.

Technical flooring belongs to our Flooring family, which brings together all event floor coverings. To fix your cables and carpets neatly, see our professional adhesives. And for an open-air dance reception, the outdoor dance floor parquet is laid directly on a technical structure.

What floor height should you choose?

For simple cable routing, a few centimetres are enough. Allow 10 to 20 cm for an exhibition podium and 40 cm or more for a conference stage visible from the back of a room. Our technicians advise you according to the audience size and the configuration of the venue.

Can technical flooring be installed outdoors?

Yes. The adjustable feet compensate for the unevenness of a lawn or car park, and the aluminium structure withstands humidity. Plan a suitable covering and level access or a ramp.

How long does it take to install?

A 30 m² stand is assembled in two to three hours, covering included. Large surfaces are organised the day before the general set-up. We work 24/7 according to the slots imposed by the trade show organiser.

Is it compatible with partitions or a stand structure?

Absolutely. Technical flooring serves as the base for modular partitions, counters and totems, and its interior houses all the networks needed for lighting and screens.
