three-phase cabinets rental | 32a electrical panels | paris
How do you safely power a sound desk, a catering station and stage lighting from a single incoming supply? Electrical cabinet and box rental answers precisely that question. A distribution box receives a single-phase or three-phase supply and redistributes it to several protected sockets, each dedicated to one point of consumption. It is the central element of any event electrical installation, the one that avoids daisy-chained extension leads and tripped breakers in the middle of a speech.
Single-phase and three-phase boxes: the available range
For small set-ups (a lectern, a light sound system, supplementary lighting), the Distribution box - Single-phase 16A and the Distribution box - Single-phase 32A are more than sufficient, from €25 excl. VAT. As soon as a caterer, a band or a video wall comes into play, you move to three-phase: the Distribution box - Three-phase 32A (from €69 excl. VAT) and its 6-outlet variant form the heart of the range. The Distribution box - Three-phase 32A with 12+2 outlets multiplies the connection points, and its version with a 30mA RCD adds the personal protection that is essential outdoors or on damp ground. Finally, the Distribution box - Three-phase 63A with 6+3+2 outlets handles the heavy consumers: mobile kitchens, marquee heating, full stage lighting.
Distributing power according to the type of event
A marquee wedding often brings together three distinct electrical worlds: the caterer's kitchen (ovens, hobs, refrigeration), the DJ's sound system and the ambient lighting. Plan one three-phase box per zone, fed from the main supply, so that a hob never cuts out the music. At a trade show, a 12-outlet box placed at the head of an aisle serves several stands with clean, legible cabling. For an indoor seminar or a product launch, a 32A box with 6 outlets handles the video desk, the screens and the speaker's lectern. Our teams help you size the whole installation: cumulative power, line lengths, required protection.
Delivery, installation and Drive service
Every box is delivered tested, with its matching power cables, and our technicians can carry out the complete connection on site, then remove everything at the end of your event. Cleaning and checking of the equipment on return are included. If you would rather collect your order yourself, our Drive service allows direct pick-up at our warehouse. The prices shown correspond to a 1 to 3-day rental period; beyond that, a decreasing rate applies for longer periods. A detailed quote reaches you quickly once we receive your list of appliances.

The boxes go hand in hand with three-phase 32A cabling and three-phase 63A cabling to feed them, then with single-phase 16A cabling to serve each appliance. Without an incoming supply on site, turn to our generator. The whole Cabling and electrical distribution family brings together every connection your installation needs.
What is the difference between a 32A box and a 63A box?
The current rating indicates the total power the box can receive and redistribute. A Three-phase 32A delivers around 22 kW, which covers a sound system, lighting and a few kitchen appliances. A Three-phase 63A doubles that capacity and suits complete mobile kitchens or marquee heating.
Is the 30mA RCD compulsory?
It is strongly recommended whenever the public or staff may touch a connected appliance, particularly outdoors, under a marquee or near a water point. It cuts the power within a few milliseconds in the event of an insulation fault and protects people.
How many boxes should I plan for a 200-guest event?
As a rule, allow one box per consumption zone: one for the caterer, one for the sound and lighting desk, possibly a third for the bar or the entertainment. Send us the list of appliances and we will draw up the distribution plan with you.
Can the boxes stay outside in the rain?
Our boxes are designed for event use and withstand temporary exposure, but we advise placing them under cover or raising them off the ground, and favouring models fitted with an RCD. Our teams will advise you on the appropriate precautions during installation.
