Materials, sizes and finishes
High-density polystyrene is the leading material for event lettering: light, cut in any typeface, it can be painted in the exact shade of your brand guidelines, flocked or covered with a mirror vinyl. Wood (plywood or MDF) gives a more solid presence and a raw, varnished or lacquered finish, ideal for a rustic wedding or a concept store. Metal and acrylic suit fine logos and backlit letters. Heights range from 30 cm for table lettering to over 2 m for letters you can stand inside, with thicknesses of 10 to 60 cm depending on the stability required. Illuminated letters incorporate filament bulbs or LEDs for a guinguette or cinema effect.

What letter height should you choose for a stage backdrop?
To remain legible from the back of a room seating 200 people, allow at least 60 to 80 cm in height. Letters of 1.20 m to 1.50 m also let guests photograph themselves alongside without hiding them.


Can 3D lettering be installed outdoors?
Yes: the polystyrene then receives a protective coating and exterior paint, and the letters are weighted or fixed on base plates. Wood and metal are naturally suited to the open air for a period of one to three days.


What is the lead time for a bespoke logo?
Allow five to ten working days between approval of the proof and delivery, depending on the complexity of the shape and finish. Standard letters are available within 24 to 48 hours.


Do illuminated letters require a specific power supply?
A simple 230 V socket is enough: the LEDs consume very little and the letters are connected in series with discreet cables. We supply extension leads and cable covers.
