Conference Lectern Rental for Speeches
Renting conference lecterns gives structure to speeches at a professional event. Installed on a stage or a riser, the lectern becomes the focal point for speeches, presentations and public addresses. Solutions Événements offers various models of event lecterns suited to conferences, conventions, annual general meetings and awards ceremonies. These lecterns allow speakers to express themselves in comfortable conditions while bringing a professional finish to the stage.
Common uses of lecterns
- conferences and corporate conventions
- official speeches and institutional addresses
- awards and ceremonies
- product presentations and brand launches
- panel discussions and on-stage talks
The lectern structures the speaking area while offering a practical surface for notes, documents or a microphone.
It also improves the speaker's posture and helps the audience follow the speech more easily.
Lecterns suited to professional events
Depending on the stage design of the event, different types of lectern can be used:
- transparent lecterns for a modern, discreet look
- designer lecterns for corporate events and product launches
- classic lecterns for conferences and institutional events
These lecterns can be installed directly on the floor or on a conference stage to improve the speaker's visibility.
Pairing a lectern with a stage or a riser
At most professional events, the lectern is positioned on a stage or a riser to create a dedicated speaking area. A stage improves visibility for the audience and helps structure the organisation of the event.
Depending on the layout of the room, several stage formats can be used:
- a small conference riser for a simple speech
- a 6 m² or 8 m² stage for conferences and panel discussions
- a 12 m² stage and above for events with several speakers
To complete the stage installation, it is also possible to add:
- stage steps and ramps for easier access
- stage dressing with skirts and carpets
- curtains and stage backdrops to structure the stage design
Renting a conference lectern thus creates a clear, professional speaking area for your conferences, conventions and corporate events.
Which lectern should you choose, plexiglass or wood?
Transparent plexiglass fades behind the speaker and lets the light through: it suits product launches and filmed sets. The wooden Senlis lectern brings a more institutional feel, appreciated for annual general meetings and official ceremonies. If in doubt, black plexiglass offers an understated compromise that goes with any stage dressing.
Can the lectern be customised with a logo?
Yes, in two ways. The Fronton - Signage panel for lectern attaches to the front face and carries your printed visual, from €80 excl. VAT. For full integration, the customised Senlis lectern incorporates your visual identity directly, from €190.77 excl. VAT. Allow a few days for the visual to be produced, so send us your files as soon as the quote is approved.
Are a microphone and a sound system supplied with the lectern?
The lectern is rented on its own, but on request our teams can supply a gooseneck microphone, a sound system suited to the room and the necessary cabling. Specify the number of speakers and the size of the audience when requesting your quote so that we can size the whole set-up correctly.
How do you adapt the height of the lectern for a shorter speaker?
The Le Luron step stool slides behind the lectern and discreetly raises the speaker, from €45 excl. VAT. The Slide Swish illuminated lecterns, which are lower and lighter, are also a comfortable alternative for short speeches. Think about the height of the stage too: on a 40 cm riser, the lectern remains visible from the back of the room.
Does the illuminated lectern work without a power socket?
The Slide Swish illuminated lectern is fitted with a battery-powered LED lighting kit, which keeps it running independently for a whole evening. The colour of the light can be changed by remote control to match the theme of the event or the brand's guidelines. It is available from €75 excl. VAT and can also be used outdoors, sheltered from the rain.
