From what stage height are guardrails compulsory?
Regulations require any accessible platform more than one metre above the ground to be protected, but organisers and local authorities often demand protection from 60 cm upwards, particularly for events welcoming children or a standing audience. On a 40 cm riser they remain optional, but they reassure speakers who have their backs to the drop.


How many guardrails do I need for my stage?
Fit the rear and both sides, leaving the side facing the audience and the access points free. For a 6 x 4 m stage, this represents 14 linear metres, i.e. six 2 m guardrails and two 1 m guardrails, from €12 excl. VAT and €8 excl. VAT each. Each element is fixed onto a dedicated support, which should be ordered in equivalent quantities.


Are the guardrails compatible with platforms from another brand?
Our guardrails are designed for the SIXTY82 range and fix directly onto the aluminium frame of our stage platforms. On a structure from another manufacturer, compatibility is not guaranteed: send us the reference or a photo of the profile so that we can validate the fixing before the rental.


Is there a complete package for a large stage?
The Complete Sixty82 guardrail trolley kit - 24 linear metres brings together 24 linear metres of guardrails with their supports and fixings on a transport trolley, from €420 excl. VAT. It secures a 24 m² stage on three sides and simplifies handling during set-up and dismantling.


Can the guardrails be seen from the auditorium?
They are placed around the perimeter, outside the main field of view, and their aluminium finish remains discreet under the lighting. To make them disappear completely, they can be dressed with a black curtain or a stretched backdrop that hides the structure while retaining the protection.
