rent hdmi cable | paris events video | express quote
The video projector is aligned, the screen stretched, the presentation ready, and the speaker's laptop is twelve metres away. HDMI cabling rental solves this classic problem of seminar rooms, trade shows and launch evenings. The universal standard for digital picture and sound, HDMI links computers, players, cameras, screens, video walls and video projectors. You still need the right length, and a technology able to go the distance without signal loss.
From short cable to 100 m reel: the full HDMI range
The HDMI cable (HIGH SPEED) - 0.50m connects a player or a presentation box to the screen above it. The 1 m, 3 m and 5 m cables (from €3 excl. VAT) link a speaker's lectern to the control-desk switcher. The HDMI cable - 10m and the HDMI cable - 20m stretch up to the video projector hung from the ceiling. Beyond that, copper reaches its limits: the 3D/4K optical fibre HDMI cable - 30m and its 50 m and 100 m variants carry the picture in 4K without degradation. For installations where you unwind and pack away quickly, the HDMI cable reel - 50m (from €60 excl. VAT) and its 100 m version are unbeatable. An HDMI booster regenerates the signal at the end of the line when a temperamental screen demands it.
Which length for which configuration?
In a meeting room for 30 people, a 5 m cable between the laptop and the screen is enough. A plenary seminar with the control desk at the back of the room calls for a 20 m or a fibre cable, and you keep a spare 3 m for speakers who turn up with their own machine. At a trade show, each stand screen receives its short cable from the player hidden in the furniture. A launch evening with an LED wall and a remote control desk moves to 50 or 100 m optical fibre to preserve 4K resolution. For video capture, SDI is preferred for the cameras, but the switcher output often goes back out to the screens in HDMI.
Delivery, installation, Drive: the practical side
Our HDMI cables are resolution-tested before every rental and delivered carefully coiled. Entrust our technicians with the complete set-up (screens, video projectors, control desk and cabling) as well as the dismantling at the end of the event; checking on return is included. Self-sufficient teams collect their order via our Drive service at the warehouse. Prices apply for a 1 to 3-day rental period, then fall thanks to a decreasing rate for longer periods. For a quick quote, tell us the distances between sources and displays, and we will suggest the right lengths and technology.

Older sources connect via VGA and DVI cabling, and professional cameras via BNC SDI cabling. Control connections between control desk and screens run through our RJ45 and Ethercon cabling. To power your screens and video projectors, see our single-phase 16A cabling. The Cabling and electrical distribution family gathers every connection in your installation.
Up to what length does a copper HDMI cable work?
In Full HD, a quality copper cable remains reliable up to 20 m. In 4K, the limit drops sharply: beyond 10 m, we recommend optical fibre, which carries the signal up to 100 m without loss.
What is an HDMI booster for?
It re-amplifies the signal at the end of the cable to compensate for a long run or a less tolerant screen. It simply slots in between the cable and the display, with no adjustment needed.
Does an optical fibre HDMI cable have a connection direction?
Yes, the ends are marked "source" and "display". Our cables are labelled accordingly and our technicians show you the direction on delivery.
Can a recent laptop without HDMI be connected?
Most USB-C machines need an adapter to HDMI. Mention it in your request: we will recommend the accessory compatible with your equipment.
