Cable passage rental solves this problem in a matter of minutes. These modular protectors cover your power, audio and network cables, shield them from foot traffic and clearly signal their presence to guests and technical crews alike.
Three cable protector formats according to the expected traffic
The right model depends on the thickness of the cables to be protected and on what will roll or walk over them.
- Eco 3-channel cable passage 200x7.5cm: two metres long with a very low profile, ideal for thin cables (16A power, XLR leads, RJ45).
- 1 to 2-channel cable passage - 90x25cm: thicker rubber and a hinged lid that accommodates heavy-gauge cables, from €11 excl. VAT. Perfect for a pedestrian crossing or a service access.
- 1 to 5-channel cable passage - 80x44cm: the heavy-duty model, able to take up to five separate lines (three-phase, 63A splitter, video looms) and to withstand trolleys or light vehicles passing over it. Allow €27 excl. VAT per element.

Where to place cable passages on the day
At a marquee wedding, protect the lines running from the electrical cabinet to the caterer and the DJ: the non-slip lid stops a guest in heels from tripping between two dances. For a plenary seminar, the 1 to 2-channel model covers the crossing between the control desk and the stage, where the speakers move about. Our teams deliver and install the cable passages together with the rest of your electrical distribution, then collect them at the end of the event; cleaning is included. Would you rather collect the equipment yourself? Our Drive service lets you pick it up from the warehouse at the agreed times. The prices shown cover a 1 to 3-day rental period and a decreasing rate applies beyond that, handy for a five-day trade show or a tour. A quote is sent to you quickly based on your measurements.

How many cable passages do I need?
Measure each crossing of a circulation zone and divide by the length of the chosen element (2 m for the eco, 0.90 m for the 1 to 2-channel, 0.80 m for the 1 to 5-channel). Add one spare element per run to absorb any offsets.
Can a vehicle drive over them?
The 1 to 5-channel model is designed to take handling trolleys and light vehicles at low speed. The eco 3-channel passage and the 1 to 2-channel model are reserved for pedestrian traffic and small service trolleys.
Are cable protectors suitable for outdoor use?
Yes, the rubber withstands damp and temperature variations. On grass or gravel, lay them on level ground or on a floor to ensure the lid stays stable.
