lycra tunnels rental | paris event | home & reception

Picture your guests walking through a passage of light before emerging into the room: that is exactly the effect created by entrance tunnel rental. A free-standing structure dressed in stretched lycra, printed fabric or LED screens, the tunnel creates a transition between the outside and the event, shelters guests from the weather and stages the arrival of every single person. Solutions Événements installs these tunnels in Paris, across Île-de-France and in the Oise for gala evenings, launches, fashion shows and official events, with teams available day and night.

Lycra tunnel, printed tunnel or video tunnel
The lycra tunnel is made of aluminium arches covered with a white stretch textile, backlit by LED spotlights that change colour at will: pure white for a wedding, your brand shade for a corporate evening, animated gradients for a launch. The printed tunnel carries a branded fabric on its walls and ceiling, like a giant communication corridor. The video tunnel, the most spectacular version, lines the sides and ceiling with LED screens broadcasting immersive content. Standard lengths range from 3 to 12 m, for a width of 2 to 3 m and a clear height of around 2.50 m.

The moments when the tunnel makes the difference
- Gala evening and trophy ceremony: red-carpet style arrival, with photographers at the tunnel exit.

- Product launch: an immersive corridor that plunges the visitor into the world of the new product before the reveal.

- Fashion show and luxury event: a hushed passage from the street or the car park to the venue.

- Opening ceremony and official event: a protected, choreographed access route for VIPs.

- Wedding and private reception: an illuminated entrance leading to the cocktail or the dance floor.

Designing a complete welcome journey
The tunnel is only one stage of the arrival journey. Position welcome counters at its exit for check-in and badge collection, then a cloakroom in the immediate vicinity to avoid queues in the passage. An illuminated bar in line with the tunnel offers a natural arrival point for the cocktail. For a formal reception, official furniture (lecterns, flags, posts and ropes) extends the staging, and hygiene and safety equipment (barriers, fire extinguishers, bollards) secures the flow of people without spoiling the aesthetics.

Installation and conditions
A tunnel is installed in two to four hours depending on its length and dressing: our fitters assemble the arches, stretch the textile, cable the spotlights or screens and carry out the colour settings with you. Dismantling and collection take place at the agreed time, often during the night following the evening. Washing of the lycra fabrics is included. Rates correspond to 1 to 3 days of use with a decreasing rate for longer periods; the Drive (pick-up) service is not offered for tunnels, which require assembly by our technicians. As length, type of dressing, lighting and installation site vary from one project to another, request a bespoke quote: we reply within 24 hours with a costed proposal.

Can the entrance tunnel be installed outdoors?
Yes, with suitable weighting and a moisture-resistant fabric. If rain is forecast, we add a waterproof ceiling; the tunnel then becomes a genuine covered walkway between the vehicle drop-off and the venue door.

What tunnel length should you choose?
A tunnel of 3 to 6 m is enough to mark an entrance and shelter the queue. Beyond 8 m, the immersive effect becomes truly spectacular, especially in the video version or with an evolving light show.

Can the lighting colour be changed during the evening?
Absolutely: the LED spotlights are controlled by a remote or a small console, which makes it possible to move from a soft welcome atmosphere to a dynamic gradient at the moment of the reveal or the opening of the dance floor.

How many people can walk through the tunnel at the same time?
With a width of 2.50 m, two people pass side by side comfortably, meaning around 300 guests in a quarter of an hour. For larger audiences, we widen the tunnel or double the access.
