Black cases edged with aluminium, delivered empty, they can be used to build a set, create a display or simply transport your sensitive equipment safely.
Trunks from S to XL and a touring wardrobe
The series comes in five sizes of stackable trunks. The Flight case trunk - Size S (small model), from €20 excl. VAT, serves as a low pedestal or as storage for goodies; the Flight case trunk - Size M, Flight case trunk - Size L and Flight case trunk - Size XL, from €27 excl. VAT, stack up to form a bar, a welcome desk or a stage backdrop wall. The Flight case trunk - Size M square adds a cubic module that works well as a side table. The most unusual piece, the Flight case wardrobe - Hanging rail, reproduces the touring wardrobe used by artists: open, it displays a collection of clothes and costumes; closed, it becomes a totem.
Staging ideas
- Rock, cinema or backstage themed party: a stack of trunks behind the DJ, spotlights placed on top, exposed cables as a deliberate look.
- Streetwear or music product launch: open wardrobe for the collection, S trunks as display stands, low-angle lighting.
- Creative seminar: L and XL trunks as improvised high tables for people to work around standing up.
- Trade show and stand: two XL cases side by side with a top laid across them form a welcome counter with an industrial look.
- Functional use: transporting instruments, servers and fragile objects during a move or a tour.
Flight cases go well with metal, raw wood and concrete; avoid mixing them with a romantic decor, unless you are after a deliberate contrast.
Rental terms
Robust by nature, the trunks are perfectly suited to our Drive (pick-up) service: load them into a van at our warehouse and bring them back after the event. For a complete scenography, our teams deliver, stack them according to your plan and collect everything at dismantling. Each case is checked (hinges, latches, castors) and cleaned between two rentals, at no extra charge. The price corresponds to a 1 to 3-day rental period, after which a decreasing rate applies for longer periods, which makes renting attractive for a film shoot or an exhibition lasting several weeks. Are the flight cases rented empty?
Yes, all our models are delivered empty and clean. You can store your own equipment in them during the event or use them purely as decor.
Can you sit on them or place heavy items on top?
The trunks support heavy objects (speaker, spotlight, top) and the stacking of several cases. They are not designed as seating, however; choose our benches and poufs for that purpose.
How many trunks for a 4-metre stage backdrop?
Allow 6 to 8 trunks in sizes L and XL over two or three levels, alternating the formats for a lively result. We can design the stack with you.
Do the castors damage a parquet floor?
No, the castors are soft and the trunks are handled with care. On a very delicate floor, we add protection during installation.
