Since the decree of June 25, 1980 relating to safety against the risks of fire and panic in ERPs (establishments open to the public) it is necessary to respect the AM18 standard by fixing the seats together when they exceed 50 units .
The chairs in each row must be fixed together with fixing hooks or assembly clips so that each chair is attached to its neighbor. Each row cannot exceed 16 consecutive seats or a maximum of 8 seats between a circulation space and a wall.
The rows must be equipped with inter-row bars which allow them to be rigidly linked.
