Black brings a timeless sophistication; it melts into evening settings, brings out glasses and bouquets, and accepts every other colour around it. Here, it takes the form of a 60 cm round black top with a waterproof coating that wipes clean with a sponge, mounted on Modulo, the lightweight version of the range, barely five kilos, which can be carried in one hand and set up by the dozen in a few minutes.
The pedestal table welcomes two seated guests or a standing tasting at a height of 75 cm. The bare top needs no cover: a cloth or a sponge is enough between two services, and it takes glasses set down without coasters just as readily as the ice trays of a bar. The base dismantles for transport and the whole unit lies flat in a van.
The range comes in every shade: the white version and the burgundy version with cover let you compose a two-tone space or a tonal scheme.
