The top is a 70 cm round top dressed in a stretch burgundy lycra cover, pulled taut without a crease right down to the base. Burgundy leans towards depth and mystery; it gives a space a hushed, almost club-like note, and pairs with dark woods, brass and dimmed lighting. Modulo is the lightweight version of the range, barely five kilos, which can be carried in one hand and set up by the dozen in a few minutes.
The lycra cover slips off and is replaced in thirty seconds: the same table can be white in the morning for a seminar breakfast and coloured in the evening for a cocktail. It arrives clean and pressed, and leaves with the table. At 75 cm high, the pedestal table welcomes two seated guests or a standing tasting, and the round shape keeps people moving freely.
The range comes in every shade: the turquoise version and the green version let you compose a two-tone space or a tonal scheme.
