Red on black is the pairing of clubs and cabarets: the Kubo Black high stool with red fabric pouf gives evening bars a warm, theatrical intensity.
The red pouf, vivid and dense, lights up the black frame like a flame and creates a visual tension that works particularly well under subdued lighting, where the red gains in depth and the black disappears the better to set it off. The black aluminium frame, light and highly resistant, draws clean lines that structure a counter without weighing it down and suit lacquered bars, illuminated counters and loft settings. The fabric of the pouf, comfortable and hard-wearing, allows long conversations at the counter. The pouf fabric, dense and tightly woven, keeps its intensity hire after hire, and the aluminium frame does not rust, which allows the stool under a reception marquee or on a covered terrace; at the end of an evening, a cloth on the frame and a brush on the pouf are enough to get a complete series ready for the next date.
