Rental Palm Rattan sofa / bench with cushion

The natural weave of the Palm, plus the softness of a cushion: this sofa-bench invites guests to linger in the lounge as in the garden, in a bohemian aesthetic that fears neither sun nor rain.

The woven polyrattan, in a natural shade, recreates the spirit of traditional rattan without its fragility: it withstands showers, UV and repeated handling, and can be recycled at the end of its life. The seat cushion softens the feel of the weave and brings a textile note that warms up the whole and pairs with the throws, lanterns and ecru tablecloths of a rustic setting. The black metal frame traces a graphic outline that anchors the bench in a contemporary aesthetic, somewhere between hotel furniture and a designer garden lounge. Beneath a string of festoon lights, the natural weave casts delicate shadows that add to the atmosphere with no extra effort.

At 127 cm long, 72 cm deep and 83 cm high, it seats two guests with ease; its seat at 43 cm and its 45 cm depth match the standards of a living-room sofa, and its weight of around ten kilos can be carried by one person. It forms a complete lounge with the Palm armchair with cushion and the Palm XL coffee table, while the black finish offers a more graphic alternative. The version without cushion remains available for more understated configurations. The cushion comes off for cleaning and the weave needs nothing more than a cloth.

It is the obvious choice for countryside weddings, hotel terraces, press brunches, exotic-themed dinners and lifestyle brand launches where a warm, photogenic lounge is what you are after. Two benches facing each other, separated by the coffee table from the collection, draw a complete bohemian lounge in a few minutes. The cushion comes off for transport and goes back on in a single gesture; the whole piece can be hosed down and is ready to go again with no special precautions.
