Black brings a timeless sophistication; it melts into evening settings, brings out glasses and bouquets, and accepts every other colour around it. Here, it takes the form of a 70 cm round top dressed in a stretch black lycra cover, pulled taut without a crease right down to the base, mounted on Modulo, the lightweight version of the range, barely five kilos, which can be carried in one hand and set up by the dozen in a few minutes.
The pedestal table welcomes two seated guests or a standing tasting at a height of 75 cm. Dressed in lycra, the table shows neither its base nor its top: only the colour exists, and that is precisely what makes it possible to match an entire room to a brand identity in a matter of minutes. The base dismantles for transport and the whole unit lies flat in a van.
The range comes in every shade: the red version and the green version let you compose a two-tone space or a tonal scheme. For a different height in the same colour, the black Modulx coffee table and the black Modulx high table complete the set, and the black Modulx pedestal table offers the same shape in the other version of the range.
On a stand, it serves as a meeting table; in a courtyard, as a café table; in a reception room, as a side table for the buffet. Its colour is echoed on the high tables and coffee tables in the range.
