powerpoint remote control rental | solutions événements
The video projector is connected, the speaker is ready, and nobody has the right adapter for their computer: every organiser has lived through this scene. IT accessory rental exists precisely so that this moment never happens. Video adapters, presentation remote controls, laser pointers and USB sticks accompany your main equipment and guarantee that every speaker can connect, present and share their files without interruption.
What the stage manager's toolbox contains
Adapters form the first line of defence. The DisplayPort to HDMI adapter, from €2.50 excl. VAT, connects the majority of professional PCs; the Lightning digital AV adapter makes it possible to project from an iPhone or an iPad; the Angled HDMI female to HDMI male adapter protects connectors when the screen is mounted close to a wall. To drive a slideshow remotely, the PowerPoint laser pointer remote control (from €24 excl. VAT) is enough for most presentations, while the Pavlov remote control - DSAN Perfect Cue Micro is aimed at demanding conferences: it sends a discreet signal to the stage manager, who stays in control of the slide changes. Finally, the Black 2 GB USB stick comes to the rescue for a last-minute file, and the Black 512 GB USB stick carries high-definition videos and a full day's recordings.
Putting together your kit for the event
For a conference with multiple speakers, plan one adapter of each type on the control desk and one remote control per lectern: the handover from one speaker to the next then happens without any cable handling. A seminar with breakout rooms calls for a set of adapters per room and a USB stick to centralise the deliverables. At a trade show, the high-capacity stick stores the demonstration videos played on a loop on the stand's screens. At a product launch or a gala, the Perfect Cue remote control lets the host move freely around the stage while keeping control of the running order. These accessories are the natural extension of our rental Computers and our Tablet/iPad stands.
Booking, delivery and return
The accessories are added to your order and delivered with your audiovisual equipment; our technicians install them and test every connection before the speakers arrive. With the Drive (pick-up) service, you collect them at our warehouse together with the rest of your booking. The prices shown apply for 1 to 3 days; for a training cycle or a presentation tour, the decreasing rate for longer periods lightens the bill. Every accessory is checked and cleaned on return, and the USB sticks are securely wiped. A simple message describing your devices and screens is enough to receive a quick quote and a list of suitable connectors.

Which adapter should I choose for my computer?
Recent PCs most often use a DisplayPort or HDMI output, mobile Apple devices a Lightning port. If in doubt, send us a photo of your machine's ports: we will add the right adapter to your order.
Does the remote control work with all presentation software?
Yes, the remote controls on offer emulate the keyboard's navigation keys and work with PowerPoint, Keynote, Google Slides and PDF readers, on PC as well as Mac.
What is the range of the laser pointer in a large room?
The pointer remains visible on a standard projection screen at around twenty metres. Beyond that, or on a very bright LED wall, opt for the Perfect Cue solution, which signals the slide change to the stage manager without relying on the visibility of the beam.
Can I keep the USB stick with my files?
The sticks are rented and must be returned. Copy your documents before returning them: the content is systematically deleted during reconditioning.
