Blofield designer 1-seater inflatable armchair rental
Seven kilos, five minutes of inflation and a white armchair worthy of a hotel lounge: the Smart Air White Inflatable Armchair reinvents event seating by making it as compact as a sports bag.
The principle rests on a patented technology: deflated, the armchair takes up fifteen times less volume than when inflated, which changes everything for transport, storage and set-ups on upper floors without a goods lift. The electric pump supplied brings it back into shape in under five minutes; once full, it measures 81 cm wide, 78 cm deep and 71 cm high, the proportions of a low club chair, with a seat that moulds to the body and a backrest that supports the lower back.
White gives it a clean, luminous look, that of festival lounges, VIP areas at brand parties and scenographies that play on clarity. Under coloured lighting, the surface takes on the hue of the scenography, which makes it a lighting canvas much appreciated by stage managers. Designed by the Blofield design studio, the Smart Air displays crisp lines, without the bulges of ordinary inflatables; its coated nylon covering resists water and wipes clean with a sponge.
It can be placed outdoors without worry: lawn, terrace, beach, paved courtyard. Two people can set up around twenty armchairs in an hour, and the dismantled set fits in a few bags. The Drive (pick-up) service suits it particularly well, since around ten deflated armchairs fit in a car boot.
Festivals, garden parties, street-marketing operations, seminar chill-out areas, relaxation zones at trade shows and open-air parties adopt it for this light logistics and its looks; arranged in fours around a white coffee table, it composes a complete lounge that can be moved by hand.
The Smart Air also comes in a black version, more discreet in a dark setting; for the same inflatable spirit in a tufted version, the red inflatable Chesterfield armchair and the white inflatable Chesterfield sofa complete the series. Browse all our armchairs to put together a bespoke lounge.
