The assertive character of a petrol blue in the service of vintage elegance
The Copenhagen sofa PETROLEUM blue blends the heritage of Scandinavian and vintage design with a rare shade that leaves no one indifferent. This deep blue, more intense and more mysterious than a classic blue, has an assertive elegance that effortlessly commands any setting. The fabric that dresses it has been chosen with particular care: its fine texture and impeccable hold over time reflect a standard of quality you can feel at first touch. This intense colour marries beautifully with neutral tones, pale wood, off-white, charcoal grey, to compose lounge spaces of immediate refinement, where the colour becomes the visual anchor of the whole composition. Mounted on tapered birch wood legs, faithful to the Nordic aesthetic of the 1950s, this two- to three-seater sofa offers a generous seat and a comfort that invites lengthy conversation, without ever sacrificing the aesthetic rigour of the vintage design that is its signature.
This petrol blue finds a privileged setting at corporate cocktails looking for an atmosphere both warm and sophisticated, where it naturally structures a corner for informal conversation. It is also a natural choice for VIP areas at trade shows, where its singular shade catches the eye and instantly lends an image of distinction to the brand that hosts it. At a private reception or a gala, it composes an elegant focal point, especially when enhanced by warm lighting that accentuates its chromatic depth. In event scenography, it can be paired with brass or copper accessories to extend this vintage vein, or combined with generous green plants for a striking organic contrast. A corporate seminar banking on an image both creative and professional will appreciate this shade that steps off the beaten track without ever tipping into eccentricity.
Easy to integrate into varied decorative universes, this sofa is aimed at organisers who want a piece that is comfortable, long-lasting and instantly recognisable within their reception spaces.
