carpet rental | stand & exhibition | solutions événements
Nothing signals the entrance to an event space better than a dressed floor. Fit-out carpet hire lets you mark out a stand, lay a carpet of honour, unify a conference room or protect a parquet floor for the duration of a trade show. Solutions Événements cuts the carpet to your dimensions, delivers it with its protective film and lays it in the colour that will carry your visual identity.
A palette of more than twenty colours, cut to size or by the roll
Our event carpet is a dense, fire-retardant needle-punched carpet, designed for intensive temporary use.
- The red carpet cut per m² remains the great classic for welcome carpets and award ceremonies; it is also available as a full roll for large surfaces.
- The neutrals, black, white, sand, light to dark grey or light brown, provide the backdrop for minimalist stands and conference stages.
- The bright colours, royal blue, glacier blue, turquoise, purple, green, yellow, orange or fuchsia pink, let you match a brand's graphic guidelines exactly.
- The jute-style carpet brings a natural note to eco-responsible trade shows and rustic weddings.
- Polyane film, in white, black or clear, in rolls of 33 to 73 metres (from €96.20 excl. VAT), protects the carpet during set-up and is removed at the very last minute.
Cuts per m² are ordered by the linear metre on standard-width rolls, which keeps offcuts to a minimum.
Choosing the right carpet for your event
At a trade show, the carpet is the first element laid on the stand: choose a colour that contrasts with the aisles of the hall (often grey or red) to catch the eye. For a gala or a premiere, red carpet stretched along the full length of the entrance and framed by stanchions remains a timeless classic; royal blue or black replace it to great effect at brand evenings. At a seminar, light grey carpet under the tables absorbs the sound of footsteps and gives a multipurpose room a finished look. In a reception tent, it covers the flooring and protects guests from the gaps between boards. Pair it with brushed cotton to dress the partitions and stage backdrops as well.
Cutting, laying and removal
Rates correspond to a 1 to 3-day rental period; a five-day exhibition or a week-long trade show benefits from a decreasing rate for longer periods. Our teams deliver the carpet cut to size, lay it with double-sided tape suited to the surface, protect it with Polyane until opening, then remove it and dispose of the offcuts. As fit-out carpet is a consumable, it is not hired out again after use: the service therefore includes its processing at the end of the event. Our Drive (pick-up) service lets you collect the cuts from our warehouse if you are laying the carpet yourself. Send us your dimensions and you will receive a quote per m² within 24 hours.

For a complete stand, pair your floor with brushed cotton for the partitions, with fit-out furniture and with lighting. All our solutions are presented in the stand and exhibition fit-out family.
How do I calculate the carpet area to order?
Multiply the length by the width of the stand or zone, then add 5 to 10% for cuts and joins. Our advisers check the calculation with you from your plan.
Is the carpet fire-rated for trade shows?
Yes, our fit-out carpets meet the fire classification requirements set by exhibition centres and venues open to the public. The certificate is supplied on request with your quote.
Can the carpet be laid on parquet or a delicate floor?
Yes, we use a repositionable double-sided tape that leaves no marks on smooth floors. On a delicate surface, we add an underlay or a protective film in between.
Can the carpet be laid outdoors?
On a terrace, under a marquee or on a sheltered forecourt, yes. For prolonged exposure to rain in the open air, opt instead for a suitable synthetic event rug; we will advise you according to the forecast.
