All in black, from the cone to the 150 cm top: the CONIC-O Black Table - Black Top 150 cm - 8-10 pax composes an understated, sculptural table where the tableware, the candles and the guests provide the decor.

All-over black has a rare virtue: it makes the table disappear. The round top, matt and deep, absorbs light and makes white tableware, glasses and the centrepiece stand out; the black conical base can just be made out in a dimly lit room and reappears, crisp and graphic, under low-angle lighting or an LED placed on the floor. It is the finish of galas, brand dinners and evenings where the staging relies on light rather than on furniture.

The central cone base leaves legs free all the way round: eight to ten guests sit in a circle, facing one another, with no leg in the way, with the comfort of a classic banquet table. The polypropylene is fully recyclable, resists water and sun, and the whole weighs eight kilos; the table can be carried by one person, placed under a tent or on a terrace and cleaned with a sponge.

The black top hides marks of use right through to dessert and withstands glasses set down without coasters. Bare, it is enough in itself; with a gold table runner, tealight holders or a pale arrangement, it becomes a gala setting; the gold velvet, pink or green chairs in the range take on their full intensity here, and black chairs prolong the restraint.

Gala dinners, award ceremonies, product launch meals, press dinners in a loft and weddings in dark settings lay it out by the ten or twenty; the black top flatters the guests' outfits, and the round format encourages conversation.
