Rental toad armchair in dark green velvet
Small, low and charming: the Green velvet Toad armchair in fir green brings a lounge corner the softness of a revisited bourgeois drawing room, with light wood legs that make it as easy to carry as a pouf.
The toad armchair is a nineteenth-century invention: a low seat, fully upholstered, with no visible wood other than the legs, designed for sitting by the fire. Here it is revisited in a deep fir green velvet, a forest shade that evokes nature, freshness and renewal, and that converses with plants, light woods and botanical set designs; under the light, the velvet reveals softer highlights, somewhere between fir and moss.
Compact, it measures 51 cm wide, 57 cm deep and 63 cm high for under six kilos: you carry it in one hand and slide it in anywhere, at the foot of a sofa, in a corner, between two taller armchairs. The light wood legs bring a Scandinavian note, lighten the silhouette and mark neither parquet nor carpet. The low, plush seat invites you to sit down for a moment, glass in hand.
The velvet brushes clean and withstands an event lasting several days; the armchair stays indoors or under cover.
Chill-out corners at seminars, trade-show lounge areas, pop-up tea rooms, bohemian weddings, decoration showrooms, reading corners at book fairs and children's areas adopt it in twos or threes around a coffee table; it pairs easily with the sofas in the range and with the velvet poufs.
For other greens in the range, the Leonor green velvet armchair, the Leonie green velvet armchair and the Malmo green velvet armchair compose a tonal palette; the duck blue cane pouf extends the bohemian spirit. Browse all our armchairs to compose your lounge.
