Gather six to eight guests around a single top without asking them to sit down: the White Kubo High Table with Black Top turns any corner of a room into a collective workstation or a tasting bar.
Contrast gives this model all its character. A black lacquered wooden top, with a matt finish, serves as a dark background against which glasses, notebooks, samples and flowers stand out; it forgives fingerprints and cup rings, which matters when the table stays busy from morning to night. Beneath it, the white aluminium framework forms a slim, light frame that seems to carry the top effortlessly, like a line drawn in space. The whole remains understated and suits every graphic universe, from the technology stand to the pop-up designers' boutique.
Its proportions were calculated for standing work: 120 cm long, 70 cm wide and 110 cm high. At this height, you lean on it, write on it, present an object on it; paired with the range's high stools, it hosts an extended seated session. The 70 cm width allows two rows of guests facing one another, two trays of canapes side by side or a computer screen with its accessories. The tubular structure dismantles by hand, fits in a light vehicle and reassembles on site in a few movements.
The Kubo collection plays with permutations. The same high table comes with a black framework, which makes it possible to reverse the contrasts from one unit to the next on the same stand. On the white framework, the top can be swapped for a Pembroke top or a Senlis top depending on the atmosphere sought. To dress the rest of the space at different heights, the white Kubo console and the white Kubo buffet console share the same width, so the modules sit side by side without any break.
Where to place it? In a congress networking area, it gathers a circle of participants around a facilitator; at a wine or cheese tasting, it serves as a service counter; in a co-creation workshop, it collects sticky notes, models and prototypes; in a pop-up gallery, it displays a collection at eye level.
