Rental of ballroom floor and parquet dance floor of 5.50 x 5.50 m
Thirty square metres of parquet in the open air, a perfect 5.50 metre square, seventy-two people dancing in the middle of the garden while a storm threatens: and the next morning, not a single tile has moved.
That is the promise of complete waterproofing: water does not seep between the tiles, damp ground does not rise up, the parquet does not warp. You can therefore assemble the floor the afternoon before, leave it to sleep under the dew and find it intact for the opening of the ball. The square geometry invites you to place the floor at the heart of the lawn, surrounded by tables arranged in a circle, with the band on one side and, above, a festoon mast or suspended spotlight that treats it like a stage. In the light of the setting sun, the honey oak of the tiles takes on an amber tone that appears in every photo of the evening, and the non-toxic vinyl layer guarantees the same glide for heels as for espadrilles. All around, the anodised aluminium frame forms a continuous bevel with no step, wheelchair accessible, underlined by a silver edging.
Allow two to three people and around seventy-five minutes for assembly: the tiles slot together and then lock with locking tabs, without a single tool. The kit weighs 462 kilos and travels on a dedicated trolley; the route for that trolley to the installation point, gate, driveway, slope, is checked during a technical site visit before delivery. The same square is available in an indoor version for halls. For a smaller headcount outdoors, step down to the 25 m² rectangle; for around a hundred dancers, step up to the 41 m² kit.
