White aluminium structure, black top, a front in your own colours: here the Kubo counter plays the card of contrast, with the lightness of a piece that assembles without tools.
What you see first is the top: a black lacquered wooden top, matt and deep, which absorbs the light and makes everything placed on it stand out, from badges and tablets to glasses and bouquets. What holds it all is the white aluminium, rustproof and lightweight; the white of the aluminium lightens the silhouette and opens up the space, along with a customisable front, printed with your visual, which turns the counter into a communication medium one hundred and eleven centimetres wide by one hundred and eight high. Assembly requires no tools, which matters when a stand has to be installed within the hour.
The counter accommodates hosts and hostesses standing or seated on a high stool along its 120 cm length. Behind the front, a storage space holds documents, badges and personal belongings out of sight; the top stays free for the tablet, the guest list and a bouquet. The 35 cm depth remains modest, which allows it to fit into a nine-square-metre stand.
The Kubo collection was designed to be combined: the same top exists with a black structure, and the counter also comes with a white top or a Senlis top. To furnish a complete space in the same finish, the white Kubo console and the white Kubo buffet console extend the set from the reception desk to the buffet.
Trade show stands, congress receptions, gala cloakrooms, festival information points and pop-up stores place it on the front line; with a Kubo high stool behind it and a roll-up banner beside it, the reception station is complete.
Aluminium does not rust and withstands the repeated handling of a touring event; the top wipes clean with a cloth and does not mark under glasses. On a stand carpet as on a parquet floor, the feet leave no trace, and the piece can be moved by two people without dismantling.
